Since his breakthrough at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest with “Can’t Wait Until Tonight”, Max Mutzke has been one of the most versatile voices on the German music scene. Together with the award-winning SWR Big Band, he presents a work brimming with energy, emotion and musical sophistication. The opulent arrangements lend Mutzke’s own songs, such as “Welt hinter Glas” and “Marie”, a new radiance and allow classics to shine in a new light. Following the initial CD release in November 2025, which sold out within a few weeks and after several print runs, an exclusive selection of tracks is now being released as a heavyweight LP.
