Magnus Lindgren, the Swedish jazz multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger, has been artist-in-residence with the SWR BigBand since 2018. Together, they produced the album 'Transitions' in 2018. Lindgren, who has already collaborated with numerous well-established artists and orchestras, now enjoys a wide reputation for his fresh, virtuoso jazz spirit. The song 'Penny Blue', part of the Transitions album, is the first of three singles to be released by the label SWRmusic, with the entire album being scheduled for release in June 2021.
