SWR Big Band and Fola Dada have been successful collaborators for many years and with their new studio album As We Speak (exklusive physical release in November 2023) they broaden their swing repertoire to include the 1960s. The Label SWR presents here the single "Bluesette" from that album as Digital Exclusive.

The long, fruitful colaboration between the SWR Big Band and the jazz singer Fola Dada has already resulted in three, very successful albums: Kings of Swing (1 & 2) and SWR Big Band live at the Elbphilharmonie. Fola Dada was awarded in 2022 the German Jazz Award for the best German jazz singer. The SWR Big Band belongs worldwide to the best big bands and has colaborated with legendary names like Sammy Nestico, Phil Woods and Toshiko Akiyoshi.
